BusinessWeek and Interbrand have released their annual list of the world's top brands. To no surprise Coca-Cola retains the number one spot. The brand ranked equally well in this years EquiTrend brand equity study. The biggest movers in the Top 100 include Chinese banking giant HSBC, climbing five while Kodak made the biggest drop, falling twelve.

HSBC is not a Chinese Banking Giant - it's British!

Jim,
Thanks, we stand corrected. HSBC's Chinese roots threw us off...
From your corporate website:
"The HSBC Group has an international pedigree which is unique. Many of its principal companies opened for business over a century ago and they have a history which is rich in variety and achievement. The HSBC Group is named after its founding member, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, which was established in 1865 to finance the growing trade between China and Europe."
Congrats on moving up in the rankings -
Derrick
